Elise Andersen is an operating partner with 15 years of experience driving demand for B2B software companies across range of industries including financial services, government, healthcare, retail, business services and more. She brings expertise across go-to-market strategies, demand generation, business development, and marketing operations.

Prior to joining Spotlight, Elise held senior marketing leadership positions across high-growth companies including think-cell, Drips and SparkPost (a MessageBird company) where she built demand gen and business development programs and teams from the ground up, increasing sales pipeline by 3x. Throughout her career Elise has worked with C-Suite teams and private equity firms across the US and Europe to formulate and execute growth strategies to help these companies achieve the Rule of 40 to prepare for successful exits.

At Spotlight, Elise provides a mix of hands-on demand generation and business development leadership within the existing portfolio, as well as strategic input on M&A deals.

Elise earned her BS in communications and journalism from the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, biking and skiing with her husband Michael and son Matías.
